WOW, what a day I had!! I like to help people which I think is obvious by this blog. One of the people I was (I thought) friends with. She also has IC. Well I was just talking back and forth with her as she went back and forth herself from minute to minute about having her bladder removed. Seriously, many others I know said she was saying the same things to them. I am going to paste the last thing I said to her and ask you all a question afterward. Here it is: -------you are gonna drive yourself crazy reading about all the failed operations. You need to remember most of them are successful. The one with the outside bag is the traditional way. They have been doing them for over 20 years. They do those everyday because of people with bladder cancer. If this doctor is one of the best then I would call and ask for the nurse. Explain about your IC and wanting a bladder removal. I would ask her between the two which one is safer and how many has he done and how many have had complications. Just an idea------- ok now tell me did I say something wrong or offensive? She sent me this email in repsonse: ---------I'm sorry, but I don't feel like we are connecting on the same level emotionally. I don't want to walk into a major surgery lightly and at this point I feel I need to dissociate myself from you. >>>>> Good luck with your surgery & God Bless--------- She blocked my email and did the same thing to another girl. I sent her the following message: ----------I will be praying that whatever is troubling you will resolve. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I am a Christian and being a Christian means that you forgive others. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men of their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15 Because of Jesus, Love, Kristi--------- After I sent her that message she blocked me from fb and come to find out she blocked the other girl also. So,I am very confused. I think she has some major major issues that removing her bladder won't resolve. I just don't get it. Color me stupid but I thought I was being pretty nice. I guess that is why they say it takes all kinds to make the world go round. Sorry for my venting today but I'm not as think as I confused I am !!!
