appointment with Ostomy Nurse Tuesday, Sept.18

Everything went really good. She was impressed by the research I have done because there was only one thing I had not thought about. What happens when you lay down and the pouch has urine inside? She showed me a line on the bag that is for back flow. It keeps that from happening. I am in pain today and taking my pain meds so if I don't make sense or make a lot of spelling errors please forgive me. The nurse marked the spot for my stoma. She gave me a surgical marking pen so that I can keep the spot marked. I wore a bag today to test it out and I couldn't even tell it was there. The sticky part is just like a band aid. I am really tired so I am going to take a nap now. Bye my IC sweet friends!!!
