Lasted update with B'ham doctor

I went yesterday to see the doctor in B'ham. The last time I was there he told me that he wants to inject botox into my bladder muscle wall. He sent me some papers in the mail to let me know that he wants me to do Urodynamics. It is a combination of different test on the bladder to find out exactly how the bladder is functioning. Well went we started the test I could not urinate. I couldn't urinate for any of the tests that require it. My sphincter was completely closed according to the lady performing the tests. Then they hooked me up to a computer and did a test inside my bladder. It was like an EKG is for the heart but it is for the bladder. I couldn't urinate during this test either and when she completely filled my bladder I started crying because it hurt to bad. After the test she talked with my doctor and after what she told him about how I did during the testing period he said that he did not want to do the botox now. He wants to look at all options first. The lady who did the test told me that he didn't know until he went over my test carefully. She made it sound as if he felt like because of how my test went that I need surgery rather than even trying the botox. She went over with me the different options for bladder and urethral removal. I just want to feel good again. I believe that the doctor now knows how severe my IC is. I feel like he will recommend surgery. I want to ask all my IC friends to pray for God's will to be done.
