Surgery

well hello, I know long time no IC-talk. However, I have not been feeling well. I am going to have surgery. I have to have a repair (not going to get into that one). I am also going to talk with my doctor in Atlanta,Ga tomorrow. We will discuss taking my Interstim out and I have made a decision. A very hard decision so I pray that my doctor won't be against doing the surgery. I had decided that I am ready to have urinary diversion surgery and remove my urethra at the same time. The doctor would remove my bladder and make me a new bladder with a piece of my Intestine. The new bladder can not function like the real bladder. I would have a valve on one of my sides that I would put a small catheter in and drain the urine. I would have to do this every 4 to 6 hours. There will be more updates to come.
