Back in action

I apologize I haven't posted lately. I am going to layout by the pool today with London. School is only a half day today and then out for the summer. Yeah!! I have my little buddy back. Haha!! She is gonna get a part time job though. London being 17 spends all her money on clothes. She gets an allowance every month for doing chores around the house. Although she needs to get busy and really help. She has been slacking a little lately. I allowed it only because she has been studying for exams. She will get her money tomorrow so watch out everyone she will be on the road. haha! Just kidding! London is actually a great driver.

Me and London went yesterday to the eye doctor and we are both getting glasses. The doctor said that neither one of us should be driving without corrective eye wear. I am getting old for sure because I had to get bi-focals. If that isn't getting older I don't know what is. :)

I have an appointment with a Pelvic Pain Clinic in September. Yea, that's right September. This doctor is suppose to be one of the best for IC in Alabama so that's why it takes so long to get in to see him. I don't mind waiting because I am praying he will be able to help me. He deals with the entire pelvic area. I can't wait to go. Sounds crazy to say that about going to a doctor but when you are in my shoes or anyone dealing with IC knowing that a doctor may be able to really help you is exciting!! By the way I want to thank all of my great friends who have IC for reading my blog. I hope it is not too boring!!

Our washing machine died so we had to buy a new one. This time we got the "mercedes" version of washihng machine's. It is sooo cool. I love it. One of my neighbors came over that day and laughed at us because me and Jimmy both just sat there watching the first cycle. She said you two must really be bored!! Oh well, what can I say the little things in life are exciting to us. Haha!!!! One last thing. I am a member of Hello Kitty Junkies website and I have met some really cool people. I now have 2 pen pals. One is from California and she is a professional ice skater and model and the other is in the UK. If you don't know it yet, I am obsessed with the UK. I have wanted to go to Europe my entire life. It is on my bucket list.

Sorry but I have to add this. My son is studying to be a nurse and he said he wants to find a cure for Intersitial Cystitis. Don't I have a great son!!!! I thought that was so sweet of him to say. He is 1 year away from clinicals. That is when he is in Nursing school. He just started back to school yesterday. I am proud of him for going to school through the summer. A lot of kids skip the summer time and just work. He will be working and going to school as usual. I have wonderful kids anyway. I am soooo blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean that. IC and Neuropathy will not take away my life!! I will still enjoy it!! And depression can take a back seat for a while!!!!
